Janneth Gil

Janneth Gil discovered art from a young age. Her first exhibition was at the age of nine winning a merit award for her first still life. She discovered pastels in the year 2000.
She is currently PANZ Webmaster and she has been PANZ committee member since 2005.
Janneth is a Figurative Contemporary Artist, an Engineer and the Manager Director of Art and Technology Ltd, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Her passion is captured in her pastel, graphite, charcoal, impasto and oil nudes.

Janneth prefers not to use professional models as she prefers to have friends and acquaintances pose for her, people who really want to be there, rather than someone she is paying.
At a young age she decided to explore the world to meet the people and cultures that inspired her pursuit of her art career. She has been actively involved in national and regional art groups and she manages the www.artgallerynz.com Online Art Gallery.
Her artworks can be found in some parts of Europe, Middle East, South America and New Zealand.
